My past was a mess. Who would have thought that from a clumsy woman, I am a clever and graceful woman now. God did this -only Him. Same to you, He always makes sure that we will always and forever experience His amazing and unfailing love. I am just reminded that God will always be our God not just in times of happiness but also in times of sadness. His grace can only lift us up especially if we are not okay spiritually, physically, etc. The past few days was a tiring moment for me as a person, as a daughter , as a sibling and most of all as a believer. I was embracing the discouragement of the world in which I know that they don’t have the right to act that way. But God surprised me and whispered some words, “Hey, my daughter, don’t be afraid, I am with you.” After that, automatically, the entire being of me was embraced with light, a light in which I saw hope that came from my father in heaven. Truly, He is a father to the fatherless. God is always the answer to my dreams.
I was again reminded by this song “Leave me Astounded” by Planetshakers. Here are some parts of the lyrics :
“All my hands have made I’m laying down. All that I hold dear, my many crowns. I’ve tasted and seen of Your great love. You satisfy me.Spirit fall, open up heaven’s door. We’re waiting with worship for more. You’re the only love that satisfies me….Leave me astounded, leave me amazed.Show off Your glory, let heaven invade. We’re waiting with worship, we’re waiting with praise. For the almighty presence of God to invade.”
5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” (Matthew 6:5-8)
